Columbus to Cincinnati High Speed Rail

The next leg of the mega High-Speed line is here!

In this WEBEO, I draw out the next leg of the high speed line connecting New York with Texas, in between Columbus, OH and Cincinnati, OH, with stops at Springfield, Dayton, Middletown, and Sharonville: I-275. The line will be mostly on existing right of way, but electrification needs to be added, and a second track is required between Columbus and Springfield. There are also sections in which viaducts are required to eliminate any and all grade crossings. The line will run at speeds between 200 km/h and 300 km/h, and travel time between Columbus and Cincinnati will be approximately 55 minutes.

Due to varying responses to my last WEBEO, from now on I will publish one international WEBEO for every USA proposal. I am deeply fascinated in exploring both our country and our world.
