San Francisco to New York Vacuum Tube

30 September, 2016

The Hyperloop, extended trans-America!

This WEBEO is the third of my Vision 2100 proposals, in which I draw out a vacuum tube transporting passengers at speeds of up to 2500 mph between, in this case, San Francisco, Los Angles, and New York via the American South. The SF to LA portion I have laid out reasonably in detail, as that is the segment that is more popular and should be built first, as two of the most powerful American financial centers can be connected in 30 minutes. I also extend such a line to New York, and in the process serve many of America's great cities into one seamless connection. This line can be later connected to other vacuum tubes traversing the oceans to Europe and Asia, so there is a lot of scalability with such a system.

Stations (CAPS are definite): SAN FRANCISCO, SAN JOSE, LOS ANGELES, Phoeinx-Chandier, El Paso, Dallas-Midlothian, Atlanta-Woodstock, Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Washington-Ashburn, NEW YORK.
