Montréal to Toronto High Speed Rail

Get propelled between Canada's two largest cities at up to 400 km/h!
In this WEBEO, I lay out where a possible high speed rail link can be implemented between some of Canada's population centres. This particular WEBEO is linking the cities of Montréal and Toronto together in only 1 hour and 55 minutes. In addition, travel time between Montréal and Ottawa (Canada's capital) is only 30 minutes. High speed rail in Canada is vital in that it is the only G7 nation without any high speed rail whatsoever, and to remain competitive and connected to globalization, Canada's cities need to be more effectively linked together.
The line runs to the north of the St. Lawrence River, and curves up to reach Ottawa, which has a big potential for high speed rail ridership. It then continues through the Frontenac Hills before rejoining the existing shore railway to Toronto. Much of this alignment is only a single track and all of it is unelectrified, so work has to be done to get this high-speed ready. However, I believe that the costs will be outweighed by the many economical and environmental benefits as a result of its construction. The top speed of the line is 400 km/h, and there will be both ultra high speed and regional high speed, the latter stopping at all stations listed below:
Stations: Montréal Gare Centrale, Aéroport de Montréal, Ile-Perrot, Ottawa Junction, Barrhaven, Belleville, Cobourg, Oshawa, Guildwood, Toronto Union Station.
