New York to Boston High Speed Rail

US High Speed Rail doesn't have to be expensive!

Here is a plan of the route of a train that takes only one hour and 40 minutes to go between New York Grand Central and Boston South Station at speeds of up to 300 km/h (187.5 mph)! High speed rail boosts economies. High speed rail also makes travelling a breeze, literally. Finally, high speed rail will make the USA a competitive nation in the years to come!

This train starts in New York, and will pass through Stamford, New Haven, Hartford, Springfield, and Worcester before arriving in Boston. Note that the path I selected is a suggested route, and may not happen (although I want it to happen)! However, most of it is upgrading existing tracks, drastically lowering costs without significantly decreasing the speed. This is what high speed rail should be between New York and Boston.
