Pittsburgh to Cleveland High Speed Rail

18 September, 2015

The gap between the Northeast and Midwest is officially complete!

In this Webeo, the final stretch of high speed rail is planned between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. This will be on fully electrified track with trains reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. Amazingly, much of the line is on the bank of the Ohio river, so not much new track and right of way needs to be built. All together, this is only one segment of a mega high speed line, now complete from Boston to Chicago and beyond, over the course of seven Webeos!

Stops: Pittsburgh, Rochester, Youngstown, Ravenna, Bedford, and Cleveland.
