A new people mover burrows underneath Maharashtra's capital city!

In this WEBEO, I look at the possibilities of connecting more knit neighbourhoods of South Mumbai through an underground people mover underneath the city streets. At the same time, the people mover will serve as a link from the existing Suburban Railway at Bombay Central, CST, and Churchgate to the prominent business and shopping districts of Nariman Point and Kalbadevi. The line will have stations about 0.6 km apart, and will allow for the city to cope with its high rise (and population) boom in the southern tier.

Stations: Malabar, Simla Nagar, Tardeo, Kemp's Corner, Bombay Central, Dalal Estate, Siddharth Nagar, Kalbadevi, Masjid, Dhobi Talao, Bombay CST, Fort, Hutatma Chowk, Churchgate, Brabourne, Nariman Point.
