Long-Term Projects
DLR OPTIMIZED RESERVE TABULATOR
Last summer at my internship with Unum, I optimized code which tabulated reserve requirements for 980,000 claimants in the Prophet financial modeling system. I was able to reduce runtime of departmental testing by ~4 hours across an 18-month validation period using this algorithm.
EXCEL-BASED INVESTMENT SIMULATION
I worked with other exec members and the general body of the Penn State Real Estate Society to develop an interactive VBA-based simulation on estate and asset investments. This lead to increased interest in the Society and involvement with deeper-level projects that we do.
